BALAENIDAE

Menswear Project - November 2014

This collection’s major inspiration was from the story ‘Moby Dick’, which tells a tale of how a whale destroys a ship, which then resulted in the captain of the said ship seeking retribution.

’Balaenidae’ is the name of the whale familia. Prints were heavily inspired from it. Silhouette consists of pea-coat, knitted jumpers and loose trousers which were inspired from the outfit of a sailor.

The collection was set for the Fall/ Winter season, thus the dark tones of color.
